ADVERTISEMENT TO BID

The North Attleborough Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the 667-2 ADA Reasonable Accommodation Roll-In Shower, #197128 in North Attleborough, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Edward Rowse Architects, Inc. and all incidental work necessary to complete the Project.

The Project consists of: the removal and replacement of existing tub and ceramic tile surround with new handicap accessible fiberglass shower assembly. Work also includes asbestos abatement of the resilient flooring and installation of new flooring, metal studs, drywall, shelving, floor drain assembly for shower, and painting. Work is confined to fourth floor unit along with ceiling soffit modifications in third floor unit required to install new drainage line.

The work is estimated to cost $18,000.

Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149§44A(2)(B) and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 §§26 to 27H inclusive.

THIS PROJECT IS BEING ELECTRONICALLY BID AND HARD COPY BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Please review the instructions in the bid documents on how to register as an electronic bidder. The Brookline Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Bathroom Mechanical Exhaust Fan Installation at Egmont family development 200-2 for the Brookline Housing Authority in Brookline, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Nangle Engineering Inc..

The Project consists of: Bathroom Mechanical Exhaust Fan Installation at Egmont Street Development

The work is estimated to cost $ 215,676.00, including all alternates.

Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive.

General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of HVAC and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and a signed Update Statement with their bid..

General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the Brookline Housing Authority.

General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO), formerly known as SOMWBA. The combined participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 10.4% of the final contract price including accepted alternates. Request for waivers must be sent to DHCD ([email protected]) 5 calendar days prior to the General Bid date if the work is estimated to cost less than $500,000 OR 10 calendar days prior to the General Bid date if the work is estimated to cost $500,000 or more – NO WAIVERS WILL BE GRANTED AFTER THE BID DATE. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2019. Meet at the intersection of Egmont Street and St. Paul Street. Any questions must be submitted in writing prior to or at that time.
