NOTICE TO RESIDENTS 

SPRING BRUSH COLLECTION 

BEGINS ON APRIL 15, 2024 

Public Works crews will collect brush throughout mainland Loyalist Township beginning on Monday, April 15. Brush for  collection must be placed at the roadside no later than 7:00 am on April 15. Yard waste is not included in this collection. 

• Each household is allowed a maximum of one half-ton truckload. 

• Allowable brush has a maximum diameter of four inches (4”). 

• Please stack with cut ends facing out (toward the road). 

• Please do not combine neighboring brush piles or they may be rejected if deemed oversized. 

• Please ensure brush is visible and placed adjacent to the road. 

Both brush and yard waste can also be composted at the Kingston Area Recycling Corporation (KARC), 196 Lappan’s Lane,  Kingston, free of charge, open year-round.
