LANDFILL LABOURER 

Oxford County is hiring! As a Landfill Labourer, you will perform various general labour duties with a focus on customer  service at the Oxford County Waste Management Facility, which operates from Monday to Saturday. Travel throughout the  County will be required on occasion. 

Competition number: #2024-44 

Employment status: Permanent full-time (alternating Saturdays) 

Wage range: $28.49/hour 

Location: Public Works Waste Management Facility, Salford 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS 

• Grade 10 education or equivalent experience. 

• Valid class G or G2 driver’s license required. Class A or D license with Z endorsement is an asset. 

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, show initiative, and work collaboratively as a team. Excellent organization,  communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. 

• Previous general labour or landscaping experience is preferred.
