A travelling band since 2003, this trio of hard-working, lifelong musicians from Chicago present an educationally entertaining show that covers early rock ’n’ roll and the British invasion in American pop music from 1955 to 1965. They’ve played all around the Midwest and other parts of the U.S. at festivals and theaters, proving that period of music is indeed one of the most relevant and rocking of all time. Fronted by Kevin Giragosian (guitar, vocals), while ably aided by his real-life brother Kegham Giragosian (drums, vocals), plus a sibling related through the “Neverly” side, Mike Bradburn (bass “fiddle,” vocals), these three keep things hoppin’ at the hop, put the Elvis in a pelvis, make the Stones a-rolling and add a beat to the Beatles. And if those “phunny” and “punny” phrases make sense to you, then consider yourself a good candidate for digging the Neverly Brothers and their concert show about the hip history of happening music from the age of cool cats and hot chicks.
