Known as the Dirty Old One Man Band, Scott H. Biram plays by himself for anyone who will listen, and that’s been a lot of folks during his nearly two decades in professional music. From humble beginnings in his native Texas, Scott has traveled the U.S., Canada and Europe many times over jamming in joints from here to there. He’s played on the “Tonight Show” with Jay Leno and at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, recorded several albums for Bloodshot Records and been heard on many TV shows and in the movies. And through it all he’s stayed true to his roots, playing blues-based, hardcore songs as the perennial “one man band” act, combining a pleasantly twisted sense of humor with arguably good judgment to incorporate a high quality taste in low brow music with unhinged performances of superior sensibility all for the love of the music, and to make a decent living, too. And, he likes to sing about chickens and raises them on his property outside of Austin.
