
Enjoy music performed by the Illinois Symphony Orchestra and Felix Hell, one of the world’s most sought-after concert organists, on Saturday, March 24, during the ISO’s “Pipe Dreams” concert at Sangamon Auditorium. The performance will open with Bach’s “Fantasia” and Edward Elgar’s “Fugue” and will include Poulenc’s “Organ concerto” and Saint Saens “Organ symphony.” Prior to the concert, attendees are invited to attend a 6:30 p.m. “Concert Comments” session featuring ISO music director Ken Lam and organist Felix Hall. The conclusion of the concert will be celebrated with a reception hosted by the Illinois Symphony Guild of Bloomington-Normal and Springfield. Tickets for Pipe Dreams range from $20 to $60 for adult patrons and $5 for students with ID. A special senior rate is also available.
