This wife-and-husband music duo of Cole Michael Porter and Kendra Porter hails from Springfield, Missouri, with a startup history that reads like a country music fairy tale. The two met a decade ago at a bar and struck up a match made in heaven while touring as the Cole Porter Band. Since the Porters became a wedded union and started Porter Union as a musical entity they travel as a couple, sometimes performing as an acoustic duo and other times with a full band. Their debut album was produced by Joshua Thompson of Cody Jinks fame and came out in June of 2017 with songs and sounds that are both modern and timeless. The Porters spend a good deal of time on the road, from dive bars to theaters and wherever else they can best spread the word about the heartfelt and sincere music they make. Before dropping into Riverton, the two play Nebraska and Iowa, then head off to Kentucky, North Carolina and Virginia, making February a traveling time for Porter Union.
