On Wednesday, Oct. 4, from 10 a.m. through 2 p.m., Lincoln Land Community College will host its 14 th annual Multicultural Fest. The annual event showcases a variety of cultures via ethnic food, entertainment and cultural exhibitions. From 11 a.m. through 1 p.m., attendees can enjoy complimentary food samples from local restaurants such as Clay’s Popeye’s Bar-B-Q, Flavor of India, Hunan’s Chinese Restaurant, Boccardi’s Italian Imports, AZ-T-CA Mexican Grill and Nickey’s Place. Live performers include the LLCC Dance Club, Zach Fedor and DJ Yinka, and cultural exhibits are provided by a myriad of local organizations and groups, including but not limited to Sol Peru, Springfield Baha’i Center, Sokol Polish Folk Dancers, Sister Cities Association, a variety of LLCC clubs and departments, and more.
