
On Tuesday, July 18, enjoy a presentation and book signing by New York Times reporter Peter Baker in honor of his new book, an Obama biography titled Obama: The Call of History. Baker was hired by the New York Times in 2008 as chief White House correspondent. Baker covered the entirety of the Obama presidency then briefly became the newspaper’s Jerusalem bureau chief before returning to the White House to cover the Trump presidency. Before joining the Times, Baker enjoyed a storied career with the Washington Post, working assignments in the White House, Russia, Afghanistan and the Middle East. Admission to this event costs $12 for those wishing to attend the signing at 6 p.m. and the presentation at 6:30 p.m., and $25 for those who would like to attend the signing and presentation plus a 5:15 p.m. VIP meet-and-greet session.
