Growing up in the suburbs of Cincinnati, a young Greg Finger became fascinated by the sounds he created on an old, out-of-tune upright piano his parents purchased for him while he was still in grade school. The possibilities contained in the mysteries of music-making drove him to learn different instruments and dream of what could be. When he first heard the Zac Brown Band album titled Uncaged, he was a junior in college. After completely absorbing the recording through continued constant listening, Greg was hooked and his music direction established. After going on an incredible songwriting binge (“I wrote more than 80 songs”), he shared a few with a friend and found a music-mate in guitar player/background vocalist Duke McClellan. A short time later, Kentucky drummer Zach Adams and bassist Austin Vitucci filled out the combo, and the Greg Finger Band was ready to go to “work” by playing music everywhere possible. Now with a debut EP in hand, cool-looking T-shirts and calendar full of gigs, the guys are bringing their music to the world.
