Corn dogs, beer, doughnuts, ice cream, crazy costumes, professional timing for runners, live music and dancers are just a few of the zany things you’ll spot during the tenth annual FatAss 5K and Street Party for Charity. Runners and walkers of all ages, athletic abilities and walks of life will enjoy the 3.1-mile course peppered with tasty treats, drink stops, live entertainment and more. Stick around post race for the annual street party and hog roast through 3 p.m. Don’t miss the Annual Craft Beer & Cigar Festival the night before, held at the intersection of Seventh and Washington streets. The festival is open to the public, runs from 5 p.m. through 12 a.m., and features food trucks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as live music by Off The Wall, Fun DMC and The Shenanigans. The Craft Beer and Cigar Festival is free, and a variety of advance admission packages are available for the FatAss 5K, ranging from $30-$60 when you register online by noon on May 12.
