If you’ve ever expressed curiosity and a desire to take to the stage, attend The Muni’s Audition Workshops on Saturday, Feb. 18, at the Hoogland Center for the Arts. This event will be split into two workshops – one for children between 8 and 13 years of age at 10 a.m., and one for adults (ages 13 and up) at 1 p.m. – and will offer interested parties the opportunity to hear from Muni directors regarding their expectations, casting requirements and projected rehearsal schedules. Other experienced Muni performers and staff will share their tips and tricks for navigating The Muni’s audition process. After the workshops, attendees will be able to meet and greet directors and staff to ask questions, select sheet music and sign up for an audition time-slot one day before audition registration opens to the general public on Sunday, Feb. 19. The adult auditions will take place March 4, 5 and 11, with call-backs occurring on March 12. The children’s auditions will take place on March 18.
