As their promo blurb says, these guys “are guitar players. In fact, they are guitar players with the legendary band Little Feat,” and from there, the blurb goes on describing the incredible careers of these pillars of rock music. Paul joined the famed band in 1972 as the rhythm guitarist behind Lowell George then stepped up to play slide and lead after George’s passing. He contributed to the band as a guitarist, songwriter and lead vocalist. Fred played on recordings of the Feat as early as 1972 and was a top-shelf studio guitarist during that time. He joined as a full-fledged member in 1987. Paul and Fred first played together during the recording of the popular Dixie Chicken album. They use the performances to flesh out the bands songs in a more organic way while running through various songs from their immense catalog of American roots music.
