Feel the holiday spirit during the 24 th Annual Taylorville Christmas Home Tour, where six private homes will open their doors to the public. See Taylorville’s historic “Painted Lady” house, a landmark property that two Taylorville mayors have called home, a funky makeover, a “Mad Men”-style home, an Irish cottage and a dwelling featuring two waterfalls. Complimentary treats will be served at various sites. Other tour attractions include a holiday bazaar, decorated historic buildings, a cookie walk and an open house at Countryside Veterinary Services, where guests can visit an orphaned calf named Nova. Tickets can be purchased for $9 in advance at various locations throughout Taylorville, Springfield, Pana and Nokomis.
