BAND SPOTLIGHT | Kilborn Alley Blues Band

Continuing the terrific run of early Thursday shows at The Alamo, sponsored by the Illinois Central Blues Club and presented by James Armstrong, Kilborn Alley drops in from our neighboring city of Urbana. These guys make the rounds, celebrating 15 years of being a traveling blues band in 2015. They’ve played all over the Midwest, been to Europe, released several CDs and won the praise and confidence of fans, friends, critics and fellow musicians for the righteous performance of gritty Chicago blues done right. Bandmates Andrew Duncanson (vocals, guitar), Josh Stimmel (guitar), Chris Breen (bass) and Aaron “Aplus” Wilson (drums) just returned from a short trip out to New England for a string of shows and now settle in for some regional blues and soul playing and singing. A new recording is in the works to jump up next to the other fine award-winning recordings produced by this extraordinary band of blues brothers.
