Love craft brews? Then the Springfield Jaycees Annual Beer Festival is the place for you on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 2 to 8 p.m. The beer bonanza features more than 125 local, regional and national craft beers plus assorted wines and spirits. New for 2015 is an indoor beer garden with live music by Brooke Thomas and Mike Burnett, compliments of Pleasant Nursery. Four limited edition special release beers will be available from Capital Brewery, Central Water Brewing Company, Stone Brewing Co. and Founders Brewery. Other represented breweries include North Coast Brewery, Victory Brewing Company, Boulder Beer Company, Left Hand Brewing Company, Obed and Isaac’s and more. Food will be available for purchase throughout the day. Tickets can be purchased online in advance for $15 at http:// illinoistimes.boldtypetickets.com, or for $20 at the door the day of the event. Ticket price includes event admission, a special edition tasting glass plus five drink tickets.
