THEATER | Skate, spin, sparkle

The Springfield Figure Skating Club’s annual Spotlight on Ice returns to the capital city this weekend for three dazzling performances. The theme of this year’s showcase is “It’s Magic” and will feature ice skating performances set to music from Mary Poppins, Wicked, Pippin, Harry Potter and The Princess and the Frog. SFSC skaters will be joined by special guest 2008 U.S. Champion and 2010 Olympian, Mirai Nagasu. Tickets are available for advance purchase at Schnucks and Nelson Center, as well as at the door the day of the performance. Admission is $12 for adults and $7 for children under 14.
