RJ Mischo is nothing short of a phenomenon. He’s traveled the globe for more than 20 years as a touring blues artist, released nine internationally distributed CDs and played on an additional 21 CDs as a guest or on compilations with the likes of Jimmie Vaughan, James Cotton, G. Love, James Harman, Kim Wilson, Candye Kane, John Mayall and others. You’ve heard him blazing away on his Hohner harmonica on nationally aired commercials, Discovery Channel shows and independent film scores and you don’t even know it. When he’s live and in person, add an impeccable set list delivered with accurate aim by His Red Hot Blues Band and you’ve got one absolute blues man taking it to the audience every time he takes a stage. Now living in the Fayetteville, Ark., area after several years in San Francisco, the touring bluesmeister spends most of his time on the road bringing his emotive vocals, classic harmonica and natural band leading skills to blues fans everywhere.
