FESTIVAL | Spectacular spookadelic
Live music lovers of all ages will not want to miss Springfield’s biggest Halloween party this Friday, Oct. 31, at Donnie’s Homespun. The five-and-a-half-hour festival kicks off at 7:30 p.m. with your host, one-man-band extraordinaire, Evan Mitchell’s Ukulele Party. Attendees will enjoy live music from local legends NIL8 plus punk rock outfits The Timmys, King Worm, Bad Banshee and new Misfits tribute band, The Misfarts. For the first time ever this annual blowout will utilize sideshow entertainment to fill the gaps between main stage performers. You’ll laugh your face off with standup comedian Brandon Judd, be amazed by world champion juggler and variety act Brian Pankey and be shocked by other special guests. Costumes are highly encouraged, as there will be a costume contest with a $100 cash prize and trophy. This event is open to all ages, but you must be 21 with ID to purchase alcohol. Come early and stay late so you don’t miss a thing. For more information, visit donnieshomespun.com.
