BAND SPOTLIGHT | Randy Houser

His father worked as a professional musician and by age thirteen, Randy Houser was fronting his own band. From his native Miss., Randy took off for Nashville in 2002. One of his first cuts was a co-write of the Top Five hit, “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk.” With that song establishing him as viable country music maker, he worked on his career as a performer. Blessed with a voice just right for today’s country music, plus good songs in his pocket, Houser came out swinging into the rambunctious and rowdy world of country music hit making. His 2008 Anything Goes record had a couple of hits in it, including the title cut and “Boots On” and in 2010 They Call Me Cadillac produced the song, “Whistlin’ Dixie.” 2011 saw “In God’s Time” as a popular single and Houser’s move to Stoney Creek Records. Now in 2012 out comes How Country Feels with the title cut as a hot single, currently sitting at #20 on the country charts. Here’s a chance to see a modern country star up close and personal.
