COMPETITION | Long live the king

Celebrate January-born Elvis Presley and shake on downtown Jan. 21-22 to the Midwest Tribute to the King Competition. Fifteen Elvis tribute artists from six states entertain and compete for prize money in one of the country’s largest Elvis impersonator contests. Special guests are Michael Jackson tribute artist, Rico, and World’s #1 Rock ’n’ Roll Elvis, Kavan (pictured), who also serves as master of ceremonies both evenings. Monica Day, Miss Ohio 2008 and Columbus, Ohio, news personality hosts Jan. 21, while WQQL morning radio powerhouse, Amie Meneghetti, hosts the competition on Jan. 22.
