Notice is given of the death of ANN
GREEN. Letters of office were issued on
February 16, 2010 to Traci L. Norman
as independent representative, whose
attorney is Gary E. Kerr, 1020 S. 7th
Street, Springfield, Illinois 62703.
Notice is given to heirs of the decedent
whose names or addresses were not
stated in the petition that an order was
entered by the court on February 16,
2010 admitting the will to probate.
Within 42 days after the effective date
of the original order of admission you
may file a petition with the court to
require proof of the will by testimony of
the witnesses to the will in open court
or other evidence, as provided in
Section 6-21 of the Probate Act (755
ILCS 5/6-21). You also have the right
under Section 8-1 of the Probate Act
(755 ILCS 5/8-1) to contest the validity
of the will by filing a petition with the
court within 6 months after admission
of the will to probate.
The estate will be administered without
court supervision, unless under Section
28-4 (755 ILCS 5/28-4) of the Probate
Act any interested person terminates
independent administration at any time
by mailing or delivering a petition to
terminate to the clerk.
Claims against the estate may be filed
within six months from the date of first
publication. Any claim not filed within
six months from the date of first publication
or claims not filed within three
months from the date of mailing or
delivery of Notice to Creditor, whichever
is later, shall be barred.
Claims may be filed in the office of the
Clerk of the Circuit Court at the
Sangamon County Complex, 200 S. 9th
St,, Illinois, 62701 or with the representative,
or both.
