AUGUST 5: BINGO ON THE BAYOU: The sixth annual event is to raise funds for service programs of Catholic Charities of North Louisiana. JULY 14 - 31: “LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS”: This deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical has devoured the hearts of theatregoers for over 30 years. The musical will be directed and choreographed by Laura Beeman Nugent, with musical direction by Adam Philley. JULY 15-24: “THE SOUND OF MUSIC”: Rodgers and Hammerstein’s immortal musical “The Sound of Music” is the summer production at the Emmett Hook Center. It will be running weekends, July 15-24. The cast of 70 performers will be led by Liesl Cruz (Maria), Bob Gadpaile (Captain von Trapp) and Sarah Wilkerson (Mother Abbess). They will be joined by an orchestra of 28 professional instrumentalists. Over 120 people will be involved with every per performance. Shows will run at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 15 and 22, and at 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sunday, July 16, 17, 23, and 24. Tickets are $15 for children/youth, $20 seniors/ military, and $25 adults.
