The holiday season is truly the most wonderful time of the year. So, imagine doing Christmas every day – and it’s your job!

Decorating for the holidays is Jennifer Maxwell–Lebleu’s passion.

She says she’s always enjoyed decorating and calls it a great stress reliever.

In the past, Maxwell– Lebleu designed trees for friends and local businesses because she loved it. She recently decorated the tree at Avalon Hair Salon and tucked Redken holiday product bundles in the branches. However, that love led to her new business, Mama Noel Designs.

This is the first holiday season for the primarily internet-based Christmas home décor business ... and business is good! Maxwell– Lebleu says she’s made sales on both coasts and places in between.

Maxwell–Lebleu says many customers tell her they love a particular theme or look for their tree, but pulling it all together is overwhelming. That’s where Mama Noel Designs makes having a sumptuously decorated tree a reality with minimal effort.

“I put together a recipe of different tree themes to make it easier for people to design their trees,” she said. “[For example], if you want a more woodland, outdoorsy-looking tree, then I have a recipe listed for that. I’ll put together a base, and you can add items from that recipe.”

Creating recipes for her collections and sourcing the items take extensive planning and a lot of time. Preparations and ordering items from her suppliers began as far back as this past January. Due to this pre-planning and ordering, Mama Noel Designs is meeting customer needs despite supply chain issues.

“I really was lucky, because I put in the majority of my orders in January and February. They’re filling them by whose orders came in first,” said Maxwell–Lebleu.

She’s still expecting a big shipment any day from one of her suppliers. Maxwell-Lebleu says most of this décor won’t sell this year due to its late arrival. However, she will incorporate it into next year’s designs.

The Christmas tree designer uses her own home to showcase the collections she offers. Maxwell– Lebleu has 15 trees in her home. Ten of these feature her collections. These collections include Peppermint Dreams, Road to Bethlehem, Woodland Chic, Sweet Treat Wishes and Gingerbread Kisses, Santa’s Best Friend, Hollywood Glam, Nutcrackers on Parade, Champagne Wishes, Gingerbread Spice and Everything Nice, and Jolly Saint Nick.
