John Waterfallen is a native of Shreveport. He joined Dr. Robert Tucker in 1981 and founded OB/ GYN Associates of Shreveport in 1984. He has extensive medical experience in well woman care, gynecologic surgery, and obstetric care. Dr. Waterfallen has built one of the leading private practices in the area. With over 35 years of experience he has enjoyed delivering babies and providing quality healthcare for women as well as remaining up to date with ever-changing healthcare. His practice specializes in a broad spectrum of women’s care – general OB/GYN, infertility, routine and highrisk pregnancies, gynecologic surgery, minimally invasive procedures, and menopause. Dr. Waterfallen provides thorough individualized care to each patient. His strengths include careful attention to detail of his patient’s needs and providing solutions to their medical problems.
He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is a member of the Louisiana State Medical Society and the Shreveport Medical Society.
He and his wife, Lisa, have two daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family, LSU tiger football, gardening, and reading.
E.B. Robinson was born and raised in Homer, Louisiana. He has provided individualized quality care, specializing in general obstetrics and gynecology since 1987. He now performs in office gynecologic services with emphasis in preventive medicine for women of all ages and can see an obstetric patient until their 12th week of pregnancy. His friendly bedside manner creates open communication and each patient feels valued personally.
Dr. Robinson has developed a patient base through his compassion and respect for the female patient in addition to 30 plus years of experience as an OB/GYN physician.
Dr. Robinson is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Robinson and his wife Cheryl have three daughters and one granddaughter.
Russell Burlison is a native of North Louisiana. He grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana. With four children of his own, Dr. Burlison is very familiar with the common day to day challenges of life. He understands and communicates openly with the female patient promoting a balance of healthy lifestyle with the busy schedules of today’s women. Dr. Burlison has been in private practice for over 15 years. Dr. Burlison ensures he is current and up to date with obstetric and gynecologic health recommendations as well as performing state of the art procedures in women’s healthcare. He focuses on complete care of the obstetric patient and has a special interest in minimally invasive surgical procedures.
Dr. Burlison is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is also a member of the Louisiana State Medical Society and the Shreveport Medical Society.
He and his wife, Andrea have four children. He enjoys LSU tiger football and spending time with his family.
Warren West has been in private practice since 1970. He was recently recognized as a “50 year physician.” Throughout his years as an OB/ GYN physician, Dr. West has nurtured the female patient as unique individuals that have multiple health concerns and needs. Dr. West currently provides gynecological care for women of all ages.
Dr. West began his OB/GYN practice at The Women’s Clinic in 1970. He joined OB/ GYN Associates of Shreveport in 2003.
He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is also a member of the Louisiana State Medical Society, Shreveport Medical Society, and the Southeastern OB/GYN Society.
He and his wife, Jane, have four daughters and eight grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, skiing and tennis.
Edwin Byrd is a “50 year physician” that is well recognized in the medical community. He began his career with Dr. Dilworth and Dr. King in 1969. In 1983 he joined The Women’s Clinic and subsequently joined OB/GYN Associates of Shreveport in 2003. Dr. Byrd focuses on preventative care and medical management of gynecologic problems for women of all ages. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologist. He is also a member of the Louisiana State Medical Society and the Shreveport Medical Society.
Dr. Byrd and his wife, Sally, have six children and ten grandchildren. He enjoys staying active by exercising and playing tennis.
