For family members, neighbors and volunteers, this class will offer education and resources available for those caring for a loved one. Attendees will learn how to provide basic personal care such as bathing, lifting and transferring, using medical equipment and home safety. Caregiver support, long term care and hospice will also be discussed. Becoming a caregiver can be an intimidating yet rewarding challenge.
