In that short time, Pope Francis has taken the Catholic and non-Catholic world by storm. It’s called “The Francis Effect.” Mike Whitehead, a deacon in the Roman Catholic Church, will lead a discussion on what has caused such a positive reaction to the new Pope. He will explore a bit of history, place Pope Francis in the context of our present day faith journey, and take a look at the future of Catholicism and faith under his leadership.
