WOMAN OF INSPIRATION
Clyde was a woman of inspiration to many artists in Northwest Louisiana. Named after Scotland’s River Clyde and raised on a plantation just north of Shreveport, she only left this neck of the woods to travel to New York City and other places for the Presbyterian Church and for art.

This year, the Louisiana State Fair brings in a bevy of entertainment Oct. 24 through Nov. 10 to the Louisiana State Fairgrounds. Entertainment includes a high-diving act, a safari zoo, a Vietnam War exhibit, more than 60 carnival rides, all types of food vendors, a livestock show and much more.

Ingram recently mounted her second exhibit at BAC in September. The exhibit was entitled “Life Is But A Dream” and was presented in the Emerging Artist Gallery at Bossier Arts Council. This exhibit involved photography and photo manipulation “all symbolic of fighting to make your dreams come true,” Ingram said.
