An after-dinner cocktail event benefitting Easter Seals Louisiana was held June 22 at East Ridge Country Club. Called “Chocolate and Champagne,” it featured desserts, drinks, live music and a silent auction. The tables were decorated with a variety of beautiful white fl owers. KMSS Fox 33 was a major sponsor. Treats included chocolate lattes from 4J’s Java and More, cake bites, dipped strawberries, chocolate cheesecake, appochoc (apples marinated in chocolate sauces), white chocolate bread pudding, champagne balls, brownies, cookies, bread and more. Vendors included Bistro Byronz, the Clarion Shreveport Hotel, Copeland’s, Ralph and Kacoo’s, The Chocolate Crocodile, The Wooden Spoon and Twine.
