Fund-raiser emphasizes locally sourced ingredients
Greanleaf Park In Provenance again played host to Shreveport Green’s annual farm-totable fund-raiser, FEAST! on June 9. The sold-out event featured a four-course meal, all with ingredients that were locally sourced. The menu included root beer-glazed pork belly from Mahaffey Farms, heirloom tomato salad, green ravioli (cabbage leaves stuffed with beef roast), and crème brûlée for dessert, served with fresh berries. Bread for the table was provided by Crust and Crumb Bread Company. All money raised directly benefits Shreveport Green.
