Alisha Timon, owner of Geaux Healthy, is a local woman who knows how to successfully manage life as a woman in business and is helping others do the same.

Geaux Healthy is a medically supervised, drug-free weight loss Ideal Protein Clinic. The business opened in Stonewall in 2014 and in Bossier in 2015.

“Geaux Healthy has lost over 25,000 pounds in just over two years. We don’t teach a diet. We teach a lifestyle change,” said Timon. “Geaux Healthy receives lots of referrals from many local physicians because we see results... results that include physicians taking these patients off of many medications, such as diabetic and high blood pressure meds, after being on our protocol for just a short time. We love to educate, love on our dieters and guide them to a healthier future.”

Timon, who has 13 years experience as a Registered Nurse, is a wife, mother to three teenagers and a woman working a job she loves. “I’ve always wanted to own my own business and wanted to use my nursing skills in that business,” she said. “Geaux Healthy has empowered me to do both.”
