Janice F. Watt, owner of Janice F. Watt, CPA and a partner in Generational Financial Advisors with Chris Harbuck, has been practicing as a CPA/financial advisor since 2004.

Prior to that, Watt was the first female manager in internal audit with Centerpoint Energy (Arkla).

Watt has her CPA, CIA and MIA and is also Series 7 licensed for investments.

“As I journeyed through my career, I realized that accounting was a stepping stone to auditing and financial services. You share a person’s dreams and goals or their problems, and I sincerely appreciate the trust they place in me,” Watt said.

Watt majored in accounting at NLU. She and Don, her husband of almost 30 years, have two daughters and attend Eastwood Baptist Church, where she serves on the leadership team and as chair of the finance committee. She also currently serves as treasurer for the Bossier Council on Aging and for Student Humanitarianism through Intercontinental Projects. Watt was also a nominee for the Bossier Chamber 2015 Athena Award.

“Giving back to your community is a necessity, but I always receive more in return,” Watt said. “My faith helps me to stay grounded on what is really important in life.”
