Doctors Josephine Futrell, Sarah Glorioso and Sarah Baker of Ark-La-Tex Dermatology in Shreveport-Bossier City bring both extensive experience in their field as well as offer a full range of treatment and preventative services for their clients. From skin care to injectables, tattoo removal and spider vein treatments, these doctors can take care of all dermatological needs. All three doctors are board certified dermatologists and are specialists in adult and pediatric dermatology, dermatologic and laser surgery, and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Josephine Futrell Futrell is a native of Arkansas who has lived in Shreveport for more than 30 years. After graduating from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor of science in microbiology, she received her Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology from the University of Arkansas for medical sciences. As a member of the faculty, Futrell published numerous articles on brown recluse spider venom and immunoelectron microscopy. Futrell graduated from LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed her dermatology residency at Tulane University in New Orleans.

Dr. Sarah Glorioso Glorioso was born and raised in Shreveport and graduated from Byrd High School. She graduated magna cum laude in biomedical engineering from Texas A&M University and Alpha Omega Alpha from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. She completed her internship at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport and her dermatology residency at the Department of Dermatology at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.

Dr. Sarah G. Baker A native of West Monroe, LA, Dr. Sarah Baker attended college in Shreveport at Centenary College where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology and graduated summa cum laude. She went to medical school at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport. She then moved to Chicago, where she did an Internship in General Surgery at Rush University. Afterward, she completed her Dermatology Residency at Northwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Baker returned to Shreveport to start her practice.
