Shreveport Bar Foundation raises funds for free civic legal services

The Shreveport Bar Foundation hosted a Halloween Masked Ball on Nov. 1 at the Shreveport Supper Club, located at 610 Commerce Street. The event was an evening of ghostly libations and food from some of Shreveport’s finest restaurants. Music filled the room as the creatures of the night escaped into the darkness in their masquerade. Guests were encouraged to dress in a costume or mask. The event raised funds for the SBF, which provides free civil legal services through the Pro Bono Project. The SBF’s Pro Bono Project also operates community outreach clinics at the Bar Center as well as at mobile clinics at local homeless shelters, a transitional home for veterans and a domestic violence shelter.
