Jessica Lowe Hall, Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations, is a Shreveport native and a graduate of LSUS with B.A. in Communications. In her current role, Jessica acts as the spokesperson for United Way, and is responsible for branding, advertising, publicity, strategic communication, social media, and event planning for the organization. A passion for giving back to her community and her profession truly intersect in her role with the United Way of Northwest Louisiana. “My goal is to educate the community on the obligation the United Way of Northwest Louisiana has to its donors to ensure the money they are donating is being put to the best use to help improve the income, education, health, and basic needs of those they serve,” she said. “By ensuring those who need our help the most, receive it, our entire community benefits.”

In 2012, Hall was recognized for her hard work and dedication and was named one of ten of Shreveport-Bossier’s Finest Young Professionals, and in 2013 she was honored as one of Shreveport’s 40 under 40 by The Forum and CityLife Magazine. “I enjoy giving back to the community I love by volunteering for organizations such as Bossier Arts Council, Northwest Louisiana Chapter of the Autism Society, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the Blanchard Elementary Parent Teacher Association,” she said.

She is married to a golf professional, Brian Hall and they have two children. When not working or volunteering, Hall is a mom on the go; cheering her kids on during gymnastics, dance, cheerleading, golf, running club, and track practices or events.

Lynn Nelson Stevens, Vice President of Resource Development for the Untied Way, has been working for nonprofit organizations for 15 years. Her position provides her an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others. “I’m in charge of the annual United Way fundraising campaign each year, so I do a lot of visits and meet a lot of people,” she said. She has been with the United Way since 2010, and loves her position. “My favorite part is reminding people that each of us will be in a situation where we need help, and there is someone to turn to for help because there are organizations out there like the

United Way, “ she said. “It’s just that reality of you and I will put on our blinders and go to work and everything is going great, but each of us will face a crisis,” she said. It’s really just making people realize what life’s about.

Stevens has two children with her husband Aaron, who works for the National Weather Service; a daughter at Louisiana Tech majoring in Engineering, and a son who is soon to be a freshman at Airline High School in Bossier City. She enjoys photography, painting, but is very busy with her activities in the community. “Being active in the community is really my hobby right now,” she said. The list of organizations she volunteers with is impressive , but a few highlights include the Association for Fundraising Professionals Board of Directors, the Emergency Food and Shelter Board of Directors and Local Board Chair, and the Rotary Club of Bossier City. She was also the Scott Croft Sprint Awardee in February of this year, the Quota Club of Shreveport Volunteer of the Year in 2013, and the Silver Addy Award Design winner in 2012.
