The milk production forecasts for both years are reduced on lower expected dairy cow numbers and slower growth in milk per cow. USDA now expects 2021 milk production to total 226.2 billion pounds, up 3 billion pounds from 2020 but down 200 million pounds from last month’s forecast; and 2022 milk production to reach.
