Applicants must have (a) a Bachelor’s Degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History or a closely related field and at least two years full-time experience in an area relevant to the project; or (b) a Master’s Degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History or a closely related field. Experience with buildings of this era and stature is preferred.

Consultant’s fee is fixed at $80,000. A site visit will be held on November 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Proposals will be due on October 2, 2026 by 5:00 PM. The City seeks a proposal for a direct-to-employer model for GLP-1 medications. The City is requesting proposals for solutions that allow eligible members to purchase GLP-1 medications directly, funded by a defined City contribution, without adding GLP-1 medications to the City’s medical or pharmacy benefit.

The successful proposer must be an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Invitation to Bid

The Winchester Historical Society, Winchester, Massachusetts, requests bids for the restoration of eight columns on the 1907 Sanborn House, Winchester, Massachusetts which is listed in the State and National Registers of Historic Places.

The project is being partially funded with a grant from the Massachusetts Preservation Projects Fund through the Massachusetts Historical Commission. All work must be performed in accordance with the documents prepared by Building Conservation Associates and meet the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. State law prohibits discrimination. Awarding of this contract is subject to Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity guidelines. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Sanborn House, 15 High St, Winchester, MA, on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
