Brookline Housing Authority

RFP Snow Plowing Services at Brookline Housing Authority Properties

The Brookline Housing Authority, located in Brookline, Massachusetts (the “Authority”), invites sealed bids to provide snow plowing services at Brookline Housing Authority properties in Brookline, MA, in accordance with the bid documents prepared by the Brookline Housing Authority.

The snow plowing will be all inclusive contract to cover 2026/2027 through 2030/2031 snow seasons. The estimated cost for Five years of service is $250,500.00. The contract will be a three-year base with two additional oneyear extensions solely at the Authority’s discretion.

The time of acceptance of the bid by the Brookline Housing Authority is 30 days from the date of the date of the bid opening excluding weekends and holidays. This project is scheduled for 182 calendar days to substantial completion. Scope: The mechanical scope consists of the replacement of two (2) cooling towers. The existing open cell cooling towers will be removed and replaced. A temporary chiller system will be installed and connected to the existing chilled water system to maintain cooling in the building during the period of the cooling tower replacement. The project also consists of replacing a portion of the existing roof.

A Pre-Bid/Site Visit will be held on 08/26/26 @ 11:00 A.M. at 10 Park Plaza, Boston, MA. Meet by the information desk on the second floor. Attendees are responsible for their own transportation and parking.

Minimum rates of wages to be paid on the project have been determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Labor Standards. These rates are incorporated into the bid documents.
