Urban Farming Institute honors Pat Spence

The Urban Farming Institute recently recognized former President & CEO Pat Spence for her leadership and service to Boston’s urban agriculture movement. During Farm Stand Friday at the Fowler Clark Epstein Farm in Mattapan on July 17, State Senator Liz Miranda presented Spence with a Massachusetts Senate citation honoring her contributions to food justice and community development. Also pictured is UFI’s new President & CEO, Amber Valbrun.
