Brooke Charter School-Roslindale

Request for Bids for Filed Sub Trades under M.G.L. Chapter 149A Construction Management at Risk Construction of the Brooke Roslindale Elevator Addition and Playground Project

In accordance with Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 149A, Brooke Charter School invites pre-qualified Filed Sub Trade contractors to submit pricing applications for participation in the upcoming Elevator Addition and Playground project located in Roslindale, MA. The project consists of a new, 3,495 SF, 3-story addition with a 7-stop elevator, 3,120 SF of existing building renovation, and 38,415 SF of site improvements. Project duration is 16 months phased construction.

Brooke Charter School has awarded a Construction Manager at-Risk contract to Commodore Builders for this project. The prequalification phase for Filed Sub Trades is now closed and only those firms who have been prequalified can submit bids for this project. The estimated value for each trade listed below: Masonry - $255,782, Miscellaneous Metals - $378,108, AVB - $41,340, Roofing - $98,923, Tile - $3,586, ACT - $31,733, Resilient Flooring - $98,708, Painting & Wallcovering - $65,043, Elevators & Escalators - $600,000, Fire Protection - $83,520, Plumbing - $132,787, HVAC - $477,857, Electrical and Communications - $361,000. The overall project estimate is $12,500,000.
