Candlelight: Valentine’s Day Special

If you are looking for a once-in-a-lifetime concert to bring your loved one to, this candlelit performance could be it. A Far Cry: Heart Strings

If you are looking for “an immersive evening” to celebrate Valentine’s Day, “A Far Cry: Heart Strings” could be an event to enjoy. Curated by Crier cellist Rafael Popper-Keizer, this event will celebrate love in all of its forms featuring poetry, music and live storytelling on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall, 30 Gainsborough St. After the performance, attendees may enjoy a chocolate-and-wine reception with the free option to participate in a “60-minute facilitated conversation experience” in partnership with Skip the Small Talk, an organization founded in the city “to combat loneliness and spark meaningful human connection.” afarcry.org/all-concerts/heart-strings

Looking to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your little ones?

Consider attending the Hearts & Crafts event on Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Winthrop Center, 115 Federal St., from noon to 2 p.m. The event includes hands-on crafts stations (love-grams, heart-shaped cookie decoration, handprint bouquet painting, an interactive sweet he(arts) wall, friendship bracelets and be your own photographer — take pictures capturing the memories). Galentine’s Day

If you are looking for a great girls’ night, this Galentine’s Day event might be the spot for you and your group. This event will be at Creative CTRL Studio, 41 Lebanon St. in Malden on Friday, Feb. 13 from 6 to 11 p.m.

Attendees will enjoy an evening of interactive activities, music and content corners to capture the photo memories of the night. Food and drinks will also be available, along with optional add-on experiences: a custom press-on nail class by Beauty by Kathleen J and a heart-shaped cake decorating class by Sam Sweet Treats.

Galentine’s Brunch Cooking Class with Chef Chris Faison

If you and your girls are looking to celebrate Valentine’s Day with good food and drink, this cooking class is just for you. On Saturday, Feb. 14, this event will take place at 23 Bradston Street from noon to 2:30 p.m.

Led by Gordon Ramsey’s Hell’s Kitchen Season 24 contestant Chef Chris Faison, you’ll learn how to make two brunch dishes. All ingredients and equipment will be provided.
