Janell Ramirez

Stonegate Group of Natick is proud to announce the promotion of Janell Ramirez to vice president and chief financial officer. An alumna of the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Ramirez has spent nearly a decade demonstrating exceptional financial leadership and operational expertise.

Since joining Stonegate, Ramirez has become an indispensable architect of the firm’s financial strategy. Having previously served as senior accountant, she mastered the complexities of the company’s diverse portfolio — including its high-volume Dairy Queen accounts — and took ownership of the full-cycle accounting for all commercial and residential assets. Her elevation to CFO reflects her pivotal role in steering the company’s acquisitions, dispositions and development initiatives.

The company points out that “Janell’s promotion is a testament to her outstanding leadership and the significant impact she has made on our firm’s growth,” according to a Stonegate spokesperson.

Ramirez’s ascent is backed by a robust career in corporate finance. Prior to joining Stonegate, she served as a staff accountant for CLEAResult, North America’s largest provider of energy sustainability services, where she managed general ledger functions and specialized energy-sector reporting.

She began her career as a financial coordinator at Staples Inc. in Framingham. There, she demonstrated early innovation by developing custom Access databases to track capital costs for major construction projects and store rollouts. Her work provided the granular visibility needed to control multimillion dollar budgets and reclassify capital expenses with precision.

As CFO, Ramirez will oversee all financial operations for Stonegate Group, a firm with over 30 years of excellence in the industry. To date, Stonegate manages over 750,000 square feet of real estate and has successfully developed more than $175 million in residential and mixed-use properties. Its locations range from real estate in the Boston area to central Massachusetts.
