This project is scheduled for 186 calendar days to substantial completion. Work will be phased to permit continued operations.

Minimum rates of wages to be paid on the project have been determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Labor Standards. These rates are incorporated into the bid documents.

LEGAL NOTICE REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AT RISK SERVICES

The MASSACHUSETTS PORT AUTHORITY (Massport) is soliciting Construction Management at Risk Services for MPA PROJECT NO. W328 - Worcester Regional Airport Modernization (the project). In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149A, Sections 1 thru 13, Massport is seeking a highly qualified and competent Construction Manager (CM) to provide preconstruction services and implement the construction of the Project in accordance with an agreement where the basis for payment is the cost of the work plus a fee with a negotiated guaranteed maximum price. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is being utilized to prequalify and shortlist CM firms who will be invited to submit proposals in response to a Request for Proposals (RFP) to be issued by Massport.

The Worcester Regional Airport Modernization program includes a comprehensive series of construction, rehabilitation, and modernization projects designed to enhance operational efficiency, safety, sustainability, and passenger experience. Elements include updates to the Airport Passenger Terminal as well as campus-wide improvements based on findings by the Massport Infrastructure Condition Assessment (MICA) and Utility Condition Assessment (UCA) teams, upgrades of parking and roads, both land- and airside, and evaluation of renewable energy opportunities. The program also includes the relocation of the Robert Goddard aviation history display to a permanent site near the airport.
