PUBLIC HEARING

TO BE HELD BY THE BOSTON WATER AND SEWER COMMISSION CONCERNING

PROPOSED 2025-2027 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

Tuesday, November 26, 2024 6:00PM at Boston Water and Sewer Commission 980 Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA 02119

Notice is hereby given, of a public hearing to be held by the Boston Water and Sewer Commission concerning its Proposed 2025-2027 Capital Improvement Program. Pursuant to Chapter 436 of the Acts of 1977 of the Massachusetts General Court, the Boston Water and Sewer Commission will hold a public hearing commencing at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at the Boston Water and Sewer Commission, 980 Harrison Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts 02119 for the purpose of giving interested persons an opportunity to present data, views, or arguments relative to the Proposed 2025-2027 Capital Improvement Program. Under the provisions of Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2023, signed into law by the Governor on March 29, 2023, further extending certain provisions of the Open Meeting Law until March 31, 2025, this hybrid meeting will also be conducted virtually via ZOOM. The link to the ZOOM meeting can be found on www.bwsc.org. Any individual, partnership, trust, corporation, organized group or governmental entity which may be affected by the Proposed Capital Improvement Program may appear in person or virtually before the Commission at such hearing for the purpose of presenting data, views, or arguments relative to the Proposed Capital Improvement Program. Data, views, or arguments may be presented in person or virtually via ZOOM at the hearing or in the form of a memorandum, which shall be mailed to the Secretary of the Commission, at the office of the Boston Water and Sewer Commission 980 Harrison Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts 02119 on or before December 9, 2024. The hearing and any continuance thereof shall be conducted in accordance with the Boston Water and Sewer Commission’s Rules of Procedure, which may be examined at the Commission’s office. The Executive Director reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, The Award of any contract is subject to the approval of the Board of Commissioners.

Brookline Housing Authority FY 2025 Five Year and Annual/Capital Plan

In accordance with the 1998 Housing and Quality Work Responsibility Act, a draft copy of the Brookline Housing Authority (BHA) Annual (FY2025) and Five Year (FY2025-2030)/Capital Plan is available for review beginning November 4, 2024, at the authority’s main office, 90 Longwood Ave, Brookline and on the BHA’s website www.brooklinehousing.org. You may also request a draft copy of the plan by emailing [email protected]. The BHA will accept written comments on the plan for 45 days, from November 4, 2024, through December 19, 2024. After the written comment period, a public meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 4:30 PM via Zoom teleconference. Please visit the Brookline Housing Authority website for instructions on how to join the meeting.


ZONING HEARING

The Zoning Commission of the City of Boston hereby gives notice, in accordance with Chapter 665 of the Acts of 1956, as amended, that a virtual public hearing will be held on November 20, 2024, at 9:45 A.M., in connection with Map Amendment Application Nos. 789, filed by the City of Boston Planning Department.

Said amendment would amend “Map 6A/6B/6C, Roxbury Neighborhood District,” by adding the designation “U*,” indicating an Urban Renewal overlay district to the area of land known as Parcel 35 in the South End Urban Renewal Area.

A copy of the petition and a map of the area involved, may be obtained from the Zoning Commission electronically, and you may also submit written comments or questions to [email protected].
