REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

MBTA CONTRACT NO. SWAPS03

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is soliciting General Engineering Contract for Technical Support Services for System-Wide Accessibility. The Scope of Service(s) may include, but are not limited to: ad hoc station/facility site assessments aimed at identifying barriers to accessibility, design services for small projects addressing minor-moderate barriers to accessibility, project scoping, plan reviews, and site visits by subject matter experts in universal and inclusive design, review of miscellaneous electronic documents, websites, and applications to ensure compliance with WCAG2.1, graphics development and document formatting, QA/QC and development of tactile braille products, coordination of user testing/feedback. The scope of services will be authorized on a task order basis by phase. The duration of this contract will be five (5) years, with options to extend based on the needs of the MBTA.

This project is expected to utilize non-federal funding. Although there is no DBE participation goal for this project, the Authority strongly encourages the use of Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as prime consultants, sub-consultants and suppliers in all of its contracting opportunities.

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is soliciting General Engineering Consulting Services to address capital program needs and provide direct assistance on MBTA projects. The Scope of Services may include but are not limited to: design, engineering, and construction phase services for Passenger Facility, Transit, Commuter Rail, Bus, Ferry, and General Facility Infrastructure Asset Types. The scope of services will be authorized on a task order basis. The duration of these contracts will be three (3) years, with up to two (2) options to extend for up to one (1) year each, based on the needs of the MBTA.

This project is expected to utilize Federal and non-federal funding. The DBE participation goal for this project is 22% of the total amount authorized. In addition, the Authority strongly encourages the use of Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as prime consultants, sub-consultants and suppliers in all of its contracting opportunities.

ADVERTISEMENT

The Scituate Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the: Elderly 667-2/3 Developments for the Scituate Housing Authority in Scituate Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Resolution Architects.

The Project consists of: Bathroom Modernization.

The work is estimated to cost $ 302,000, Including cost of alternate bid requests.

Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive.

General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of General Building Construction.

Filed sub-bids for the trades listed below will be received until 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 24, 2024 and opened forthwith.
