LEGAL NOTICE REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AT RISK SERVICES

The MASSACHUSETTS PORT AUTHORITY (Massport) is soliciting Construction Management at Risk Services for MPA PROJECT NO. L1629 Framingham Logan Express Garage Expansion (the project). In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149A, Sections 1 thru 13, Massport is seeking a highly qualified and competent Construction Manager (CM) to provide preconstruction services and implement the construction of the Project in accordance with an agreement where the basis for payment is the cost of the work plus a fee with a negotiated guaranteed maximum price. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is being utilized to prequalify and shortlist CM firms who will be invited to submit proposals in response to a Request for Proposals (RFP) to be issued by Massport.

The project builds upon the existing 4-level garage (grade plus 3 elevated levels). The foundation and structure were designed to accommodate this vertical expansion up to a 7-level garage (grade plus 6 elevated levels). Thus, the proposed project includes the construction of three new elevated levels of parking above the existing roof level; extension of the existing stair and elevator towers; two new passenger elevators and extension of two existing elevators; renovations to the interior of the passenger terminal building located on the ground level of the garage; and extension of the existing building systems. The new garage structure shall be precast concrete construction. The project will incorporate sustainable design elements to the maximum extent practical.

BROOKE CHARTER SCHOOL Interior Renovations Project, 2nd & 3rd Floors Roslindale, MA BID ADVERTISEMENT

The Brooke Charter School, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from DCAMM Certified Bidders for the Brooke Charter School Interior Renovations Project, in accordance with the documents prepared by CSS Architects from Wakefield, Massachusetts.

The project consists of: 2nd & 3rd Floor Interior Renovations- select demolition in classrooms and toilet rooms including new act ceiling systems, GWB, painting, resilient flooring, ceramic tile, epoxy flooring, plumbing, and electrical work at the Brooke Charter School, 190 Cummins Highway, Roslindale, MA 02131.

The total construction work is estimated to cost $900,000.

Bids are subject to M.G.L. c. 149 44A-J and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c. 149 26 to 27H inclusive.

General Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in General Building Construction. Filed Sib-Bidders must be DCAMM certified in their respective trades. All Bids must include a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Update Statement. General and File Sub-Bids Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount and made payable to Brooke Charter Schools.

All Bids should be submitted electronically online at www.biddocsonline.com.

General Bids to be received no later than 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 and publicly opened, forthwith online.

Filed Sub-bids for the trades listed below will be received no later than 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 and publicly opened, forthwith online.

There is a plan deposit of $ 100/set (refundable, maximum of 2 sets) payable to BidDocs Online Inc. Deposits may be electronically paid or must be a certified or cashier’s check. Mailing fee is $50/set (non-fundable) for UPS Ground, payable to Bid Docs Online Inc. (electronically or certified or cashier’s check).
