Now through Sunday Theatre Alliance continues Altar Boyz, a musical comedy about a fictitious Christian boy-band on the last night of their national Raise the Praise tour. Community Theatre of Greensboro presents a musical fun for the whole family, Disney’s Mulan, Jr., starting Wednesday and continuing through Sunday at the Broach Theatre. Thursday through Sunday City Arts Drama’s Livestock Players presents Our Town, a Pulitzer Prize-winning play about finding value in everyday life, at the City Arts Studio Theatre in the Greensboro Cultural Center. The show features 16 local actors in ninth grade through age 20.
If you don’t mind traveling for a show, check out Roundabout Theatre Company’s Anything Goes, brought to the Durham Performing Arts Center by SunTrust Broadway. Sometimes destiny just needs a little help from a group of singing sailors.
