LIFE VISUAL ARTS
Ironically, Enoch Kelly Haney’s arguably most visible piece of art is too difficult to see in detail. That’s because it’s the statue that stands atop the Oklahoma state Capitol dome. A temporary exhibit beginning Thursday at Gaylord-Pickens Oklahoma Heritage Museum, 1400 Classen Drive, offers much easier looks at other works from his 40-year career. Touching the Past opens with a free, public reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, and will remain on display through July 28.
