Grievous in seattle Talk about beating a dead horse. It’s been four years since the NBA’s SuperSonics left Seattle and became the Oklahoma City Thunder, but a vocal segment of that team’s faithful continues to bellyache. Now they plan to share their anger fueled conspiracy mongering in a nationwide airing of Sonicsgate: Requiem for a Team, a documentary that purports to blow the lid off that Seattle-to-OKC move. Seattle likes to tout itself as the “Emerald City,” but for the past several years that green has been more of the “with envy” variety. A city and community failed to pony up adequate facilities for a pro sports team. The team moved elsewhere. It’s not an uncommon story. The movie airs at 9 p.m. Friday on CNBC. Bring plenty of tissue, just in case you — you know — need to pick a booger or something. See also
