LIFE VISUAL ARTS

For five years, the Oklahoma Art Guild and the Arts Council of Oklahoma has held one Friendly art show — Oklahoma Friendly, in fact. Now in its sixth incarnation, the annual exhibition remains on display through April 7 at Individual Artists of Oklahoma Gallery, 706 W. Sheridan.

From 730 works submitted nationwide, the show features a variety of styles and media from 150 artists. The aim of the exhibit is to spotlight creative excellence from across the United States. Because Oklahoma Friendly is a juried show, more than $4,000 was awarded in five categories.
